Quite day, was going to finish painting, but Susan was not feeling well. So I thought I would just update blog by posting a couple of pictures.

The first is Kobe's friend Bruno.. he even comes to the door and lets Kobe know his there, Hanna doesn't care to much about him

As you can see he looks some what like a bichon, only smaller.

Well the next couple of pictures were taken during last storm:

New heater

Well not too much going on, well we did buy our heater as it is getting cool

Now yes it is a propane heater, I know everyone will say that's dangerous, well the houses here are a little drafty so don't think you have to worry about carbon monoxide, besides we turn if off when  we go to bed.

Laugh now I did get to use my IT skills, today Susan hands me her laptop and says I think I have a problem, I look and I see a new icon in the lower right... it says Smart Fortress 2012. Well I was able to remove it... don't tell you know who...  :).

Well other then that do have pictures I need to download, will update this weekend.

Earthquake

Another earthquake, 6.5 no damage... time for bed

Well have been kind of busy, so making time to update blog.
We have gotten all our new furniture in place now.

 Is nice having the house feel like home.

It’s funny because we don’t really work, we are losing what day/date. Our neighbors invited us to a Easter dinner and both Susan I looked at each other and had totally forgotten about Easter.  For dinner we had shell fish,potatoes, salad and chicken.

Yesterday we went to Jazmin's birthday party, we had hot dogs, here in Chile, they eat hot dogs with sauerkraut and impressively topped with a massive amount of avocado mash, a smattering of chopped tomato,and, most importantly, a heart-stopping splodge of creamy, mild-flavored, mayonnaise.

Susan is not happy, poor Hanna and Kobe had their first Chilean haircut, they look like Chilean poodles,

Well today we have gotten our first rain since we have been here, so it looks like we are heading for winter. Well winter here will be different, no snow, rain and  temperature for low about 30F.

Another funny thing here is that the mailmen, they could be on foot,pedal bike or even  a motorcycle. They don't always put the mail in the mailbox, it could be just thrown over the fence. Now most mail is in a plastic envelope, I guess that's because of the delivery method.

Yard work completed

Well yard work is done.... well I have to admit it, I didn't do it; the gardener did it.. It took maybe 1 -1 1/2 to do and it cost me $10 mil, ok that's about $20.00. I am pretty sure I could not get that done in the US for that price.

The work continues

Well Susan has picked the colors to paint, so it looks likt that will be our next project for the next couple of weeks. Not too much else haas been happening.
